The SHORE is a one-of-a-kind beachside running festival created by We Run Maldives, blending the thrill of competitive racing with the vibrancy of a beach carnival.

Inspired by the theatrical energy of The Greatest Show, this event is designed to be youthful, inclusive, and visually spectacular delivering an unforgettable experience for runners, spectators, and fitness lovers alike. The event will take place on the scenic beach of Hulhumalé and feature three main race categories:

• 10K Sunrise Race – Competitive and scenic
• 5K Sunset Run – Fun, energetic, and social
• 2K Kids Dash (4 – 12 years) – Pure joy for the youngest runners

All races are complemented by live Radical Fitness group sessions on stage, beachside entertainment, and a carnival-like festival zone.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Age Requirement
    • Participants for the Marathon and Half Marathon must be 18 years or older on race day.
    • Participants below 18 years may only take part in approved 10k, 5k
  2. Health & Medical Responsibility
    • All participants confirm that they are physically fit and medically cleared to participate in the event.
    • Participants take part at their own risk.
    • The organisers will not be responsible for any injury, illness, accident, or serious medical incident arising during training or on race day.
  3. Medical Clearance
    • Participants with any known medical condition (heart issues, asthma, diabetes, injuries, etc.) are strongly advised to seek medical clearance before registering.
  4. No Refund & No Transfer Policy
    • Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
    • Bib numbers cannot be transferred to another runner.
  5. T-Shirt Size Policy
    • T-shirt sizes selected during registration are final and non-exchangeable.
    • No size changes will be allowed after submission.
  6. Race Rules & Safety
    • All participants must follow race rules, course markings, and marshal instructions.
    • Any form of unsportsmanlike behavior may result in disqualification.
  7. Timing & Results
    • Official results will be based on the event timing system.
    • The organisers decision on timing and results is final and binding.
  8. Use of Images & Media
    • Participants agree that photos and videos taken during the event may be used by the organisers for promotional and media purposes without compensation.
  9. Event Changes
    • The organiser reserves the right to change the route, schedule, or cancel the event due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
